Locate the full text of articles from journals published by the American Chemical Society. Back issues for most of the journals are available through 1996. (Available only through the Greenville College computer network.)
Search several databases including Academic Search Premier (a general database), Newspaper Source, Business Source Elite, ERIC (education), PsycInfo, PsycArticles, and other databases that focus on education, health, or the humanities. Several of these databases provide full text coverage. If you are not on the Greenville College campus, you should use the Off-Campus EBSCO site to login with your fourteen-digit id number.
Choose from several different periodical databases as well as specific reference sources. Some of these provide full-text documents. The ATLA Religion Index can be accessed here. (FirstSearch Databases are available only to the GC community. You will be prompted for a login and password. These are available at the Reference Desk in the Library or from a Librarian.)
Examine the lively editorials, news stories, illustrations, cartoons, and advertisements that filled the pages of the Harper's Weekly from 1857-1912. (Available only through the Greenville College computer network.)
Read magazines focusing on Illinois such as Illinois Issues, Illinois History Teacher, and Illinois Parks and Recreation.
Find business, medical, legal, and reference information. Includes court cases, federal and state code and regulations, company profiles, and financial reports. (Available only to GC students, faculty, and staff. Off campus, LexisNexis may ask for your fourteen-digit id number.)
Search or browse this collection of peer-reviewed biotechnology journals. (Available only through the Greenville College computer network.)
Find the full text of articles in business, the humanities, social sciences, and sciences in over 400 journals published by Sage Publications. (Off-campus access limited to GC students, staff, and faculty. Please contact a Public Services Librarian for off-campus login information.)
Choose to search any or all of the databases that the Greenville College Library provides. Remember that the more databases you search simultaneously, the slower the search will be. Results are sorted by database. (Off campus you may be asked for your fourteen-digit id number.)
