Retention at 92%, Highest in Five Years
GREENVILLE,
ILL. – Greenville College posted spring enrollment figures with a total
of 947 undergraduate students registered for the spring semester an
increase of more than a hundred students over last springs enrollment.
Enrollment has also increased in the college's master's of education
programs. Retention continues to increase up to 92% from last spring's
87.5%, and a five year high.
"It is exciting to
see full classes for our freshman students,” said President Dr. V.
James Mannoia. “We have hardly a seat in our general education
courses.”
Greenville College is a four-year
accredited Christian liberal arts school with more than 1300
traditional undergraduate, graduate, and adult degree completion
students. Founded in 1892 and affiliated with the Free Methodist
Church, the college is located in Greenville, Illinois, 45 miles east
of St. Louis.
