High-Energy Comedy at the Factory Theatre Print E-mail

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The Factory Theatre concludes its 2006-07 season with a crowd-pleaser, RUMORS, by Tony award winning playwright Neil Simon. This side-splitting farce will run April 17-21 at 7:30 p.m.

Four couples arrive at a dinner party with cases of whiplash, trauma, and back spasms. They find that the host has been shot, the hostess is missing, and to top it off there is no dinner prepared. Attempting to protect their high-profile reputations, the guests create fantastic cover-ups to conceal the events of the evening from the local police.

The enthusiastic cast members from Greenville College literally throw themselves into their roles. Their comic timing and high energy carry the audience on a wild ride which includes clever punch line after punch line, a muddle of rumors and physically exhausting action.

Set aside those papers, postpone that yard work, and forget about cleaning out your closets. Come to an evening of fast-paced hilarity at the Factory Theatre on April 17-21, and just have a good time.

Tickets are available at Watson’s Drugstore and Jo’s Java for $7 for the community and $5 for Greenville College students, faculty, and staff.
