UTEP - How to Apply Print E-mail

The list below is a checklist needed to apply to the UTEP program.  The Statement of Intent can be sent to Greenville College or given to the community college at your earliest convenience.  The remainder of the application materials should be sent to Greenville College the semester before you plan to enter the UTEP program.

 

Checklist

1.  Statement of intent

                Kaskaskia College (Download .pdf 82k)

                Lewis and Clark Community College (Download .pdf 94k)          

2.  Application for admission with $30 application fee (payable to Greenville College) (Download .pdf 61k)

3.  Statement of educational philosophy (typed, one to two pages describing your philosophy on teaching)

4.  Official Transcripts from all institutions attended- at least a 2.7 cumulative GPA (on a 4.0 scale) preferred

5.  Two favorable recommendations (from a previous instructor, employer, or other professional who can attest to the candidate’s academic ability and character/no relatives) (Download .pdf 93k) )

6.  Successful results on the Illinois Certification Testing System Basic Skills Test (www.icts.nesinc.com)

7.  Favorable results of criminal history search conducted by Illinois State Police (fingerprint check required for Lewis & Clark candidates)

8.  Completion of prerequisite courses and associate degree from partnering college (consult your community college advisor for AA and AS degree completion)
