Greenville College Hosts 28th Annual Agape Music Festival
GREENVILLE,
IL – The Agape Music Festival will be held at the Bond County
Fairgrounds in Greenville, IL on May 6-7, 2005. Christian music
industry favorites such as Audio Adrenaline, Toby Mac, Relient K,
Kutless, Greenville's own newly signed band, BDA, as well as many more
will be performing live throughout the two-day festival.
Highlights,
in addition to the weekend-long concerts, include the artist autograph
tent, food vendors, recreation activities, prayer tent and an artist
merchandise pavilion. Parking and camping is free and tickets are
available at the gate for $39.99.
Directing this
year's festival is Kimberly Callender, a senior at Greenville College
majoring in Media Promotions. She is working with a student staff of
sixty people who have been preparing for this years festival since
October 2004. “I am so blessed to have the experience of working with
such a great staff who are just as enthusiastic as I am about this
year's festival. We are looking forward to another year of carrying on
the celebrated tradition of Agape Music Festival.”
The
Agape Music Festival is a student-run organization focused on
ministering through the arts. The festival, which welcomes about 5,000
guests each year, seeks to exalt Jesus Christ as Savior through a
weekend of evangelizing through music. The Agape Music Festival is
produced in association with Sonshine Concerts, a not-for-profit
corporation devoted to bringing quality Christian entertainment to
cities throughout North America.
