Agatha Christie Mystery to be Presented at the Factory Theatre
Are you ready for mystery and intrigue? On April 12-16 the Factory Theatre of Greenville College will produce Ten Little Indians. It is one of the most popular and well-known whodunits by the Queen of Crime, Agatha Christie .
Ten Little Indians is
a classical murder mystery, which begins when a curious assortment of
ten strangers is summoned to an isolated mansion on a remote English
island by a mysterious, unknown host. All that the ten guests have in
common is a wicked past they're unwilling to reveal and a secret that
will seal their fate.
When the unsuspecting guests
arrive, the host and hostess are nowhere to be found. All that greets
them is a violent storm and a ghostly recording, accusing each guest of
a murderous crime. Cut off from everything but the inescapable shadows
of their past lives, the guests share their darkest secrets.
The title, Ten Little Indians, refers
to the ten statuettes on the mantelpiece of this weird country house
and to the nursery rhyme embossed above them, telling how each little
Indian met his death, until there were none.
The
Christie classic has everything. Brimful of colorful characters,
mysterious disappearances, humor and surprise, this exciting chiller
thriller will keep mystery fans guessing all the way!
Performances of Ten Little Indians are
Tuesday through Saturday, April 12-16 at 7:30pm at the Factory Theatre.
Tickets are $6 and can be purchased at Watson's Drugstore and Jo's Java.
