Greenville College Announces New Partnership with Greenville Bank
GREENVILLE, Ill. – Greenville College has announced its selection of
Greenville Bank, a division of Effingham State Bank, to provide the
college's banking services. The partnership began April 1 of this
year. Since April 2001, Greenville College 's banking services were
primarily managed by Bank of America in St. Louis, Mo. The selection of
Greenville Bank was made after sending eight requests for proposals to
the five local banking institutions in Greenville and three in the St.
Louis metro area. Six of the eight banks offered proposals.
“Greenville Bank was selected for its ability to
provide required banking services locally at the most competitive
rates,” said Rick Rieder, vice president for finance and chief
financial officer of Greenville College.
As part
of the present agreement, Greenville Bank will provide internet-based
cash management, depository and other loan services, and merchant
services.

financial services,” said Duane Satterwhite, president of Greenville
Bank. “Greenville Bank is a full-service institution that emphasizes
delivery of quality and value-added service in a timely manner to its
customers.”
Greenville College is a four-year
accredited Christian liberal arts school with more than 1,300
traditional undergraduate, graduate, and adult degree completion
students. Founded in 1892, the college is affiliated with the Free
Methodist Church.
