Greenville College Posts Fall Enrollment Figures
GREENVILLE, Ill. – Greenville College posted its highest
enrollment figures ever today with a total of 1316 students registered
for the fall semester, according to the Registrar's Office.
Making up the total are 961 traditional students, 230 students
in GOAL, Greenville College’s adult degree completion program,
104 students in graduate teacher education programs, and 32 students
in LAMP, the Master of Arts program in leadership and ministry.
“These numbers increase our sense of growing momentum for
the future of Greenville College,” said G.C. President V.
James Mannoia, Jr. “In this economy, private colleges face
challenging times in recruiting new students so I am gratified to
see our numbers increase despite these obstacles.”
For traditional students, retention from spring to fall is 72 percent,
just slightly lower than last year’s 76 percent rate, but
still well above the previous year of 67 percent. Spring to fall
retention is 84 percent.
