Adult and Graduate Studies The MAE is designed for current teachers that would like to receive a Master’s degree.

Three emphasis areas are available: Teacher Leadership, Special Education, and Reading

Cost: $350 per credit hour

Teacher Leadership
  • Coursework (16k .pdf)
  • Locations: Greenville College and Olney
  • Courses meet for three weeks for three summers. The courses meet during the day. Each course includes some additional coursework to be done from home.

Special Education

  • Locations: Greenville College and Lewis and Clark Community College in Godfrey, IL
  • Courses meet over the course of three weeks for three summers. The courses meet during the day. Each course includes some additional coursework to be done from home.

Reading

  • Leads to a Reading Specialist Certificate (K-12)
  • Reading endorsement is also available
  • Locations: Greenville College and Lewis and Clark Community College
  • 18-month program with courses meeting one night a week for four hours
  • Periodic breaks are built into the program.
