Chemistry Mission Statement |

The mission of the chemistry department is to help liberal arts
students better understand the molecular aspect of God’s creation,
to give science students a background in chemistry, and to prepare
chemical scientists. Chemists serve contemporary society as educators,
through advancements in medicine, materials, energy supplies, food
production and environmental quality.
