Pathway to a Career
Employers seek individuals who are well-read, articulate and broadly educated. A Bachelor of Arts in English provides a solid foundation for a wide variety of careers and can be used as a launching pad to a number of graduate study programs. Our graduates have established themselves in a vast range of careers including writing, publishing, teaching, law, business, and ministry.

Our department also offers an exceptionally strong program in English Education. Successful completion results in teacher certification in both English and Speech.
