Teacher Education Information
This program qualifies students in two of three required teaching
areas (US History and World History).
Additional courses must be selected to complete endorsement requirements
in at least one or more social studies areas recognized by the Illinois
State Board of Education. These are civics-political science, economics,
geography, sociology, and anthropology. Students should consult
with their advisor for specific requirements in each teaching area.
