Lisa's cumulative exams and proposal were completed in November
2000. She entered PhD candidacy at that point, and recieved
a Masters in May 2001. She expects to be completing her research
and PhD at OU sometime in the Spring of 2003, at which point

Celeste Frankenfeld '01- Department
of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, University of Kansas
Celeste is currently enrolled in a doctoral program with the
intent
of obtaining my PhD in four to five years. She is working
under the direction of Dr. Sue Lunte, a bioanalytical chemist.
My research plan includes studying neuropeptides and their
relation with the blood brain barrier utilizing microchip
capillary electrophoresis.
"Greenville was an excellent training ground for my future
here at the University of Kansas. I developed great relationships
with the other science students as we learned together how
to study, and matured as a scientist under the guidance of
professors who both knew their subject-matter well, and who
genuinely cared that their students understood the material."
