Our Mission:
Greenville College transforms students for lives of character and service through a Christ-centered education in the liberating arts and sciences.

Greenville College offers a degree in Contemporary Christian Music (CCM). This program has a vision for empowering young Christian artists to go beyond just the “CCM world” and to understand the greater calling of God with regard to the arts and popular culture. Jars of Clay are graduates of Greenville College, as are others occupying positions within the Nashville music scene. It is our vision to teach the ability to reason within a Post-Modern world, speak the language of the culture, and to ultimately reveal Jesus Christ in a relevant way. We try to empower the student to become as independent as possible within the music industry, and to become a light in the darkness. The implications of this are quite vast. In short, we desire to not only train students for the world of CCM, but to also release them into the mainstream secular market, becoming relevant ambassadors for Christ, reconciling a generation of youth who have experienced mere religion, rather than Mere Christianity.

Finally, the Praise and Worship Team is committed to traveling to various churches, colleges, and High Schools, for the purpose of leading a local community in the exaltation of the Lord Jesus Christ, as well as teaching in clinics and seminars, leading worship for conferences, and to hopefully become a godly representation of Greenville College to local communities.
