Jars of Clay in chapel

CCM Professor Warren Pettit questions Dan and Steve about dating the same girl at the same time while at GC ... Dan adds that there was a small window of time in between.

Steve and others in the band share stories of writing songs in the basement of Kinney Hall, a men's dorm on campus. Students seemed most interested in the part about the guys writing "Flood" on a sunny, spring day beneath the large oak trees in front of Hogue Hall.

Jars of Clay closed their time at Greenville College with an acoustic performance at Wednesday's chapel.

In response to intense questioning by CCM Professor Warren Pettit, the guys admitted to doing numerous chapel announcements in order to skip out on the rest of chapel, dating the same girl at the same time ... almost, writing "Flood" under the large oak trees on Hogue Hall lawn, and other tales while students at Greenville.

These stories helped current students to connect with their GC predecessors.
