The GC in Ireland Program intends to help college
students expand their cross-cultural awareness by studying and
experiencing the Celtic culture of Ireland. To do so, they will study
Irish literature, history, art, and sociology as their core courses.
They will also be able to select from other course options, including
Celtic Christianity; Irish music and dance; Irish language; and,
pending our ability to arrange them, a variety of internships. Field
trips every other weekend and two week-long field trips will allow
students to interact with Ireland 's people and to experience
first-hand the beauty of the land and the sites associated with the
art, literature, and history that they have studied. Students will
worship regularly in local churches.
