1) August 2001 - Resident Chaplain Strengths Finder Training
a. Nancy Gaines and Brandon Hill co-led a session on Strengths Finder self-analyzation, team dynamics, and programming opportunities.

2) September 2001 - Burritt Hall Floor dinners- approximately 90% of Burritt residents participated. Each floor was invited to the CREs apartment for a home cooked meal. During the meal we got to know each other by sharing strengths and how we see them in our lives.

3) 17 October 2001 - Dr Rick McPeak Speaks to Fourth Joy
a. DR McPeak shared his life story and how learning about his strengths has impacted his life.

4) 13 November 2001 - Faculty Open House and Strengths Night
a. Faculty were invited to the residence halls to meet students, share about their strengths, and lead Bible studies.

5) November 2001 - Burritt Hall Personal interviews with residents. Each RC was asked to interview the girls on their floor by asking the questions provided by Gallup in the Discovery Guide. Approximately 60% of residents completed this interview.

6) February 10, 2002 - Tenney and Kinney Resident Chaplain Strengths Finder Training
a. Kate McDaniel had a 3 hour training sessions were the staff talked through their strengths in the same fashion as senior staff retreat. It was incredibly insightful for those that participated and team unity was strengthened. Kate recorded the insights of each Resident Chaplain as they shared about their strengths.

7) February 15 & 16, 2002 - Joy Hall Resident Chaplain Strengths Finder Retreat
a. Brandon Hill led a 2 day Strengths Finder Retreat with Joy Hall Resident Chaplains.

8) February 15 & 16, 2002 - Resident Chaplain Strengths Training. We studied Biblical passages on community and spiritual gifts in order to establish a foundation for using your Strengths to serve others. We then took time to examine how our personal strengths work together in our lives and proceeded to talk about how we can use our strengths to develop our team and understand one another.

9) February 24, 2002 - Holtwick and Women's Upper Division Strengths Finder Training.

10) February 25, 2002 - Tower Apartment Resident Chaplain Strengths Finder Training and Discussion.

11) February 27, 2002 - Burritt Hall: During our Small Group Leader's Training participants were asked to communicate how each of their strengths would influence their leadership of a small group. They wrote out a response to be used as part of their job description. (15 participants)

12) February 26 and 28, 2002 - Burritt Hall - Focus Groups - 26 girls participated in small group discussions about the relevance of the Strengths Finder to their lives, their plans for developing their strengths, and how their time management, ministry involvement, and academic priorities are influenced by the strengths. Many of their comments are attached.

13) March 4, 2002 - President Fireside Chat
a. President Mannoia shared about recent updates at GC and his thoughts about Strengths.

14) March 4, 2002 - "Who Are You?" seminar- Professor Veronica Ross came to speak to girls about developing your identity through knowing yourself and being assertive without being aggressive. (38 girls attended)

15) April-May 2002 - Burritt Dine-With-A-Mind- Residents were encouraged to take a professor out for a meal and interview them about how they use their strengths in their life as well as how they have found success and fulfillment in life. (8 participated)
