Greenville College Management Students Receive National Recognition

Dr. Ivan Filby, Chair of the Management Department recently announced that 46 Management Department students have been successfully nominated for the National Collegiate Business Merit Award. The National Collegiate Business Merit Award is awarded by the United States Achievement Academy. Winners of the award will have their biographical information printed in the USAA National Collegiate Award Yearbook. In addition, winners can apply for USAA Collegiate Scholarships and note the recognition on the resumes and employment applications.

Filby said he was so proud of these students. "This is another sign of the great things that are happening in the Management Department at Greenville College. Management Students are being trained to make the maximum impact possible on business performance whilst maintaining Christ centered values." Filby has no doubt that the number of students wanting to study management at Greenville College will just continue to grow and grow and half joking said we will soon need to build a Business School to accommodate them all!

Greenville College is a four-year accredited Christian liberal arts school with more than 1200 traditional undergraduate, graduate, and adult degree completion students.  Founded in 1892 and affiliated with the Free Methodist Church, the college is located in Greenville, Illinois, 45 miles east of St. Louis.
