Faculty Forum Print E-mail

The Faculty Forum is a luncheon series designed to help faculty and administrative staff learn about teaching techniques, gain exposure to current ideas in a variety of disciplines, and come together as a community of scholars. The presenters are usually members of the GC faculty but occasionally feature outside speakers or some type of focus or discussion that impacts the college community.

Each Forum is held in the Krober Room from Noon until 1:00 p.m. on the announced date. Lunch is free with a reservation by noon the previous day. The hour is divided into 3 segments: Noon-12:15 – Eat and Fellowship, 12:15-12:45 – Presentation, and 12:45-1:00 – Q&A. Faculty who have class until 12:20 on the day of a Faculty Forum are encouraged to participate even though they arrive late.
