He began his career as a drummer in a band that opened for such music legends as the Beatles and the Doors. As a lawyer, he represented Barbara Streisand, the Steve Miller Band, and most recently, Snoop Dogg. Name dropping aside, new Music Business Professor David Wray brings a wealth of both practical and academic experience to the college’s budding, new Music Business program, which is rapidly growing in popularity among students. Serving as a faculty member for both the School of Arts and Sciences as well as the School of Professional Studies, he plans to develop a program that fosters an international perspective and entrepreneurship among students.
