
2005 MARKED THE SESQUICENTENNIAL CELEBRATION OF GREENVILLE COLLEGE AS WELL AS THE BEGINNING OF EDUCATING WOMEN FOR LEADERSHIP: THE ALMIRA LEGACY SEMINAR SERIES.
Held annually, the Educating Women for Leadership seminars discuss topics pertinent to struggles women students face. Initiated by former Academic Dean Dr. Karen Longman, the seminar series partners the efforts of faculty, staff, students and board members who join to plan and fundraise for the project.
