





The Digital Media major prepares students to become content creators in a world that is constantly being shaped by technology. Preparation includes the cultivation of analytic and critical thinking skills as well as the ability to work and communicate with others on complex interdisciplinary projects integrating digital music and graphic design; web based digital communications; and internet development skills.
My name is Moriah Seaman. I am a senior graduating in 2011 with a Digital Media major, emphasis in Audio Recording, and a minor in Music.
I'm learning to focus on effectively communicating my creative ideas and not getting lost in trifles of complicated software tutorials. Mastering the conceptual comes first, and the practical skills required to translate into completed works of art will inevitably follow.
For the third consecutive year a Greenville College student received Best of Show honors at the local Student ADDY Awards. The school continues its sweep of Best of Show while accumulating an impressive 22 Gold and Silver ADDY Awards over the past three years.
On Feb. 8, Greenville College held a dedication ceremony for the new Light and Life Digital Media Center. The building provides much needed classroom space for one of Greenville College's growing majors.
When the students in Arley Cornell's learning group divvied up assignments last semester for their senior capstone project (COR 401), Arley, a digital media major, accepted the task of summarizing their work in an animated video.
