2011 Championship Play, Championship Lives Bowl

For the first time in Greenville College Football history there will be a chance for former players to suit up and return to Francis Field. Their opponent will be the 2011 JV team. The game will take place on the Friday of homecoming weekend, Friday October 14th. Kickoff is at 3:30 PM.

Any and all alumni are welcome to play in the inaugural Championship Play Championship Lives Bowl. To secure you spot on the roster you need to simply email Coach Gaylord at tj.gaylord@greenville.edu.You may also express you interest on the Greenville College Football Facebook fan page.

More details will be provided later. It will be interesting to see how the super talented players from the past match up against the current Panthers. Will old age and rust prevent them from shining? Or will the years of experience be enough to pull out a victory?

No matter the outcome there are two things that will definitely happen, everyone will have fun and some alumni will cramp up and call for Pep.
