48th Annual Panther 5K Road Race October 17

Runners, mark your calendars for the Panther 5K Road Race sponsored by Moneta Group to take place at Greenville College on Saturday, October 17.

The race begins at 8:30 a.m. on College Avenue near Spruce Street. Race day registration opens at 7:00 a.m. on campus just off College Avenue. The cost is $30. Runners may also pre-register online at greenville.edu/homecoming. Participants registering before October 6 will receive a $10 discount plus a long-sleeved road-race t-shirt and gift bag on race day. The overall finisher and top finishers in all age categories will receive awards.

Children seven years and younger are invited to join Hoguey, the Greenville College panther mascot, in the Childrens Fun Run on Scott Field at 8:00 a.m. Children ages 8-12 will take their speed to the street at 8:15 a.m. in the College Avenue Dash. The registration fee for each race is $5 per person. Participants will receive t-shirts. The winner of the College Avenue Dash will also receive a trophy.

Online registrations for all races will be received until 11:59 p.m (CST), Wednesday, October 14.
