Women's Tennis Takes Third in SLIAC Tournament

The Lady Panther tennis team finished the SLIAC Tournament in third place this weekend. They defeated Blackburn 9-0 in the first match of the tournament and then went on to play Webster in the second round. They lost that match 6-3, but went on to play in the third place match against Eureka. The Panthers beat the Red Devils 5-1 to take third place overall.

GC Men's Tennis Bring Home a Title

The Greenville Men's Tennis team traveled to Concordia, Mo. to take on three different Concordia teams. The Panthers went undefeated in the tournament, beating Concordia Wisconsin 5-4, winning 8-1 against Concordia Nebraska, and earning the 8-1 victory against Concordia St. Louis to capture the tournament title.

The Lady Panthers softball team could not top SLIAC opponent, Eureka, and lost both games of the double-header. The first game had a final score of 5-1 and the second game 6-3, both favoring the Red Devils.

The GC Men's track and field team competed in the Rose-Hulman Twilight meet and came in 7th out of 11 teams. The Panthers were led by Josh Kuusisto and Coree Woltering, who each recorded second place finishes in their prospective events.

The Lady Panther track and field team competed at Rose-Hulman and earned 46 points to finish in 6th place out of the 11 teams that competed. Ali Potthast and Abby Hill recorded second place finishes to lead the Panthers in points.
