Baseball picks up doubleheader split with Westminster

The baseball team shutout Westminster 1-0 in game one and fell 8-1 in game two in a doubleheader split Friday. Game one saw Ryan Strohm, a transfer from Westminster, hold the Blue Jays at bay over 6.1 shutout innings.

The softball team advanced to its second consecutive SLIAC championship game as it split two games on Saturday. Greenville lost the first game 7-6 to Fontbonne before coming back in the nightcap for a 5-2 win against Spalding.

The baseball team defeated Blackburn 6-4 and 6-2 in both ends of Tuesday's doubleheader. Between games, the Panthers honored seniors Tyler Whitworth, Zach Thompson, Dalton McFarland, Ryan Smith, Jared Storment, Tyler Pilcher, and Michael Wittmer for their service to the Panther baseball program.
