The softball team got a game-winning two run home run by Becca Oldham in the bottom of the seventh as Greenville erased a 5-3 deficit in the inning and advanced to a showdown with Fontbonne on Friday with a 6-5 win over MacMurray.

The baseball team defeated Blackburn 6-4 and 6-2 in both ends of Tuesday's doubleheader. Between games, the Panthers honored seniors Tyler Whitworth, Zach Thompson, Dalton McFarland, Ryan Smith, Jared Storment, Tyler Pilcher, and Michael Wittmer for their service to the Panther baseball program.

The men's track and field team took first place at Saturday's Greenville Invitational in a field of 10 teams with 199 points. The event, which doubled as the SLIAC Invitational, saw Greenville tally 242 points in the conference portion of the meet.

The women's track and field team placed second at the Greenville Invitational on Saturday as they recorded 116 points in a field of 10 teams. The squad was also second in the SLIAC competition as the unit piled up 150 points to fall short of the championship by 18 points.

The baseball team improved their conference record to 13-5 with a 7-6 come-from-behind win over Blackburn on Friday. Greenville recovered from a three run deficit to tie the game in the seventh inning on a Tim Osborne home run and took their first lead of the game in the eighth inning with two runs.
