GREENVILLE, Ill. --Eureka traveled to Greenville to take on the Panthers in a conference double header, but they were unable to slow down the Panther offense in either game. Greenville won the first game 12-2 with Tyler Pilcher getting the win. Dillon Reel pitched the majority of the second game for Greenville, who won 16-6 in eight innings.

In the opener, the Panthers had three innings with three or more points. Greenville had sixteen hits out of thirty-two at-bats. Four players had two RBIs (Dylan Bone, Tim Osborne, Jared Storment, and Tommie Brown), and Osborne added a triple.

Eurekas offense picked up in the second game, but they still could not keep up with Greenville, who recorded an eight run inning in the fourth. This inning saw numerous errors from Eureka, while the Panthers recorded four RBIs. With six at-bats, Bone batted .500 including 3 RBIs and a home run.

These two victories put the Panthers at 6-8 (3-1 SLIAC). Conference play continues with a three game series at home against Westminster, beginning with an afternoon matchup on Friday, March 28.
