Baseball takes win at Spalding

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The baseball team got a double from Travis Ralls to drive in the go-ahead run as the Panthers hung on to beat Spalding 3-1 on Friday.
After Trevor Montgomery doubled, Ralls doubled, bringing home Montgomery.
Ralls had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits.
Jason Collingwood pitched three innings and allowed no earned runs on one hit.
In the top of the first, the Panthers grabbed the early lead 1-0. The Panthers attack began with a double from Nate Miller. Ralls singled, plating Miller.
The seventh inning saw Spalding score its only run on the day on a fielder's choice.
The Panthers (11-17, 6-5 SLIAC) continue their trip to Louisville with a doubleheader against Spalding on Saturday.
