Calling: Not What I Have Done

Isaiah ColemanGang culture, gambling addictions, an absent mother and a series of foster homes all find a place in senior Isaiah Coleman's remembrances of childhood. Sharing his testimony in a chapel service October 10, the senior Panther defensive back told classmates how he came to listen to God and accept His calling. "It says in II Timothy 1:9, 'He has saved us and called us to a holy life,not because of anything we have done, but because of his own purpose and grace,'" he said.
