GREENVILLE, Ill. -- When the calendar flips from October to November, it means one thing for Greenville's fall teams -- postseason play and championship meets.

This fall is no different as the men's and women's cross country teams opened Greenville's postseason activity as they ran in the SLIAC championships in Hillsboro on Saturday.  The women placed second, and the men ran to a third place finish.

This week, tournament play is underway as GC's soccer and volleyball teams compete in the SLIAC tournaments in their respective sports.

The men's soccer team opens SLIAC tournament play with a 7 p.m. match at Westminster on Wednesday night.  The women's soccer team hosts a semifinal on Thursday at 7 p.m. as they face Principia at Francis Field.

The volleyball team with a conference record of 16-1 has clinched at least a share of the 2013 SLIAC regular season championship and are slated to host the volleyball tournament with matches at 2 p.m., 4 p.m., and 7 p.m. in H.J. Long Gymnasium on Saturday in Greenville.
