Just under four minutes later, GC answered with a touchdown by Jacob Stull. The Panthers went on to score a field goal of their own when Josh Frewin cleared the uprights from 25 yards out. Iowa Wesleyan ended the quarter with a touchdown catch by Ridge Hobbs. The score was 10-10 heading into halftime.

In the last play of the quarter, Chambers added another GC touchdown when he ran 9 yards to bring GC up 31-20.

In the last scoring play of the day, Zibeon Washington recorded a 14 yard touchdown run and brought the game to its final score of 45-26.
