Football Will Travel to Georgia for NCCAA Victory Bowl

GREENVILLE, S.C. -- The GC Football team has qualified for the 2013 NCCAA Victory Bowl after an outstanding 9-1 record this season. The returning Victory Bowl champions are prepared for the battle.

According to the NCCAA, "the 2013 NCCAA Victory Bowl will feature a match up between the #1 and #2 ranked NCCAA member schools. Shorter University and the Rome Convention & Visitors Bureau will host the Victory Bowl entering its 16th year of existence. The game will be played at Historic Barron Stadium in Rome, Georgia."

This year marks the Panthers sixth appearance in the Victory Bowl. They are the returning champions, having defeated Northwestern 28-27 last year to win the bowl. The men will head to Georgia in hopes of adding another ring to their collection.

Azusa Pacific University (8-2) will enter as the number one seed and will be playing GC is representing the number two seed.

The Victory Bowl will take place on onSaturday, November 23, at 12 p.m. The game will be streamed live from Tourbeau Sports will be video streaming the game for a nominal fee.
