Freshman Aubree Schreder Headed to NCAA Cross Country National Championships

ROCK ISLAND, Ill. - Freshman Aubree Schreder earned an automatic bid to the 2010 NCAA Division III Cross Country National Championships after an impressive 23rd place finish at the Midwest Regional Championships on Saturday, Nov. 13, in Rock Island, Ill.

Schreder, who has set several individual records in her freshman campaign, added another notch to her season accomplishments as her time of 22:18 ranks as the third fastest time in school history. Also Schreder’s 23rd place is the best finish for any Greenville women’s runner at an NCAA regional meet.

As one of the top finishers not on a nationals' qualifying team, Schreder will get the chance to compete in Waverly, Iowa on Nov. 20 at the NCAA Division III Cross Country National Championships.
