If Kayla made a movie of her college journey, G.U. donors would be the heroes.
The Lead Character: Kayla Morton, technology lover and storyteller extraordinaire.
The Quest: Kayla wanted a career in digital storytelling, possibly in television, movies or advertising. That required broad digital know-how. After shopping around for colleges, only G.U.s digital media program fit the bill.
The Conflict: Money woes! They threatened to block Kaylas path to her dream program.
Enter: the HeroesG.U. donors.
G.U. Financial Champions slayed the money problem with donor-supported scholarships like the Campus Visit Award, theWilson T. Hogue Award, thePresidents Scholarship, theBrenneman Memorial Scholarship and the Greenville University Award.
I am incredibly thankful for student scholarships because Greenville would not be an option for me without [them], Kayla says.Happy Ending: Kayla entered the digital media program and benefitted from excellent technical instruction, hands-on learning and personal attention from professors. This well-rounded education stoked her confidence to enter the digital storytelling field. I am very open and excited to see what the future holds, Kayla says.
