Greenville College Factory Theatre Presents A Midsummer Night's Dream

The Greenville College Factory Theatre will produce William Shakespeare's classic comedy A Midsummer Night's Dream, October 31 through November 3 at 7:30 each evening.

A Midsummer Night's Dream is an adventurous frolic through the forest as four young Athenian lovers and six unfortunate actors become entangled in a battle of wills between the Fairy King and Fairy Queen.

The show itself will be a mixture of old and new. The costuming will be from an older period style, with a new twist. The same goes for the music, a mix of classical styles with a contemporary feel. The idea of new and old actually stems from the play. Shakespeare set the play in the ancient Greek city-state of Athens, but many of the characters fit more into Shakespeare's time. Even more reason to go, your evening at the theatre promises a little extra stage "magic" to go along with the fairy world that awaits you.

The Factory Theatre is located in the Kelsey Building on Harris Avenue in Greenville, Illinois. Show times for A Midsummer Night's Dream are October 31 through November 3 at 7:30 P.M. Tickets are Available for $7 at Watson's Drug Store and Jo's Java in Greenville.
