Greenville College Music Department to Present Parents’ Day Concert on Saturday, September 29

Performers and Program Overview

Three of the College's student touring ensembles - the Greenville College Choir, Chamber Singers, and Worship Arts Ensemble - will be the featured student groups. The Faculty Jazz Ensemble (consisting of Bill Archibald, Jorge Casas, Luke DeJaynes, Will Fairbanks, Tom Stampfli, and Paul Sunderland) will be performing in addition to faculty soloists (Charity Briles, Gary Erickson, Debra Marsch, Sarah Todd, Louise Weiss, and Chris Woods). Selections will range in musical style from 16th century choral polyphony and classical works by Ludwig van Beethoven and Franz Joseph Haydn to 20th century jazz and contemporary Christian music. Admission is free and open to the public.
