Ian Hodge selected as SLIAC men's soccer defensive player of the week

ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- The SLIAC has named Ian Hodge as it's men's soccer defensive player of the week.
Hodge, a freshman from Pleasant Hill, Mo., put together back to back shutouts last week.
Hodge's only loss on the week was a 2-1 decision against Illinois College in which one of two goals allowed was on a penalty kick. He made a week high of six saves in the contest.
Hodge blanked Rhodes with a five save performance and extended his scoreless net-minding streak with a 1-0 shutout overtime win over Hendrix, making three saves.
In three games on the week Hodge totaled 14 saves on 16 shots on goal, an .875 save percentage.
