Lady Panther Cross Country Places Seventh at Illinois College Invite

JACKSONVILLE, Ill.-- The GC Women's Cross Country team took seventh out of twelve teams at Illinois College, with Rosie Nelson crossing the line first for Greenville.

Nelson, a junior, finished the course in 25:06, placing 21st overall. Freshman runner, Molly Works, finished second for GC with a time of 25:14, putting her in 24th overall. Jessica Przybylski was next for the Panthers finishing in 26:45, and Aubree Schneider finished just eleven seconds later at 26:56.

The Panthers placed seventh out of twelve with 58 total points. Hannibal-LaGrange finished first with 78 total points, followed closely by Principia in second with 87 points.

The GC women will run again Saturday, Oct. 27 at the SLIAC Championships in Hillsboro, Ill.
