Lady Panther Soccer Can't Top Webster

FENTON, Mo.-- After an intense 90 minute match, the Panthers fell 3-0 to SLIAC rival, Webster University, on the road.
The game was tied 0-0 until the final minute of the first half when Webster's Ally Nikolaus sent the ball into the back of the net after a Gorlock corner kick. Her goal brought Webster up 1-0 heading into halftime.
In the second half of the game Webster's Kristin Montgomery and Amy Schield would both score for the Gorlocks and the game's final score stood at 3-0.
Greenville goalkeeper, Heidi Koehl, made three saves in the match. Webster was called for 14 fouls while GC only had 5 in the game.
GC's current record stands at 2-7 (1-1 SLIAC). The Panthers will travel to DePauw on Wednesday, October 9 for their next match.
