Lady Panther Soccer Improves Record by Beating Benedictine-Springfield

SPRINGFIELD, Ill-- The GC Women improved their record to 5-5-1 (1-0 SLIAC) after defeating Benedictine-Springfield with a score of 3-0.

GC goals were scored by Kayla Panzau, Allie Reuter, and Katelyn Reckert. Panzau and Reuter's goals came in the first half of the game and Reckert put the ball in the back of the net in the second half.

Defensively, GC dominated, earning a shutout and only allowing Benedictine-Springfield to have a few shots on goal over the course of the game.

The women play again Saturday, October 6t when they take to their home field to face fellow SLIAC team, Blackburn College at 2:00p.m.
