Lady Panther Soccer Lose to Rose-Hulman, 1-0

GREENVILLE, Ill.--The GC Women's Soccer team played their home opener tonight but could not overtake the visiting Rose-Hulman team and fell 1-0.

Kayla Panzau recorded 2 shots for GC and Mallory Prygon, Kayla Henneberry, and Heather Wein were each credited with one shot.

Rose-Hulman's Hayley Gilliam scored the game's only goal in the 52nd minute after the ball got loose on a corner kick. Mallory McDevitt was credited with the assist.

GC goalkeeper, Heidi Koehl recorded 8 saves in the match.

The Lady Panthers hope to improve their 0-2-1 record when they hit the home field again on Saturday. They will take on Ohio Mid-Western as they try and get their first win of the season.
