Lady Panthers Can't Top Calumet in MacMurray Classic

JACKSONVILLE, Ill.--The GC women's basketball team could not redeem themselves from yesterday's loss and fell 84-57 to Calumet College in their final game of the MacMurray Classic tournament.

Greenville's Coley Baker led the Lady Panthers in both points scored, with 14, and blocks, earning 2. Emily Gundy also had a noteworthy performance, recording 8 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists. Claire Schmitt added 9 rebounds and a steal for GC. 

Calumet was led by Dominique Edwards, Brianna Marble, and Crystal Daniels who had a combined 45 of the Crimson Wave's total 84 points.  

Greenville's current record will stand at 4-5 (1-1 SLIAC) heading into Christmas break. The ladies will return to the court on Tuesday, January 7 at 6:00pm when they will take on Eureka on the road.
