Lady Panthers Tennis Outplays Eureka Winning 7-2 at Home

Published: April 13, 2021

In an impressive first win of the season, the women beat the Eureka Red Devils 7-2. Eureka was forced to forfeit two matches because they only had five players, but the women played impressively and got the home court win.

The Panthers won 5 out of 6 singles matches with Katie Maurer, Krsitin Minshall, Kristen Lynch, and Chelsie Evans all getting impressive wins. No. 6 singles also brought a win by forfeit.

In doubles, the duo of Minshall and Kat Kennedy came out with an 8-2 win. The No. 3 doubles also won due to a Eureka forfeit and these wins brought the match to a 7-2 final score.

The Lady Panthers raised their record to 1-4 with the win today. The women play next on Saturday when they take on both Lewis and Clark and Blackburn at home.
