Luis Diaz Earns Second Straight UMAC Special Teams Player of the Week Award

GREENVILLE, Ill. -- Freshman Luis Diaz of Santa Anna, Calif., has been awarded the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) special teams player of the week award for games of Saturday, Sept. 18.

Diaz made a 42 yard field goal in Greenville's 35-10 loss at Albion College on Saturday.

He also had 281 yards on seven punts averaging 40.1 yards per punt. Three of his punts were inside the 20-yard line and his longest of the day was 55 yards.

His three kickoffs averaged 61 yards per kick.

This is Diaz's second consecutive UMAC special teams player of the week award.
