Published: April 13, 2021

GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The men's basketball team was knotted up with MacMurray at halftime but were outpaced by the Highlanders in the second half as MacMurray took an 80-68 win. Ron Harris led Greenville with 14 points, 13 rebounds, four blocked shots, and three steals.

Greenville was held in check offensively by the Jacksonville crew as the Panthers hit just 45 percent of their field goal attempts and hurt themselves at the free throw line by making just 8-of-15 attempts.

Greenville also had seven more turnovers than the MacMurray unit.

Nick Trisko provided a lift off the bench for Greenville as he scored 13 points. Tim Daniel knocked in 11 points.

The Panthers (8-6, 4-3 SLIAC) look to recover Wednesday night when they travel to Iowa Wesleyan.
