Men's Basketball Tripped Up by Webster

GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The men's basketball team gave Webster everything they could handle but ultimately fell short 86-77 on Wednesday night. Tim Daniel was Greenville's leading scorer with 20 points.
Greenville matched Webster shot for shot, hitting 30 field goals, including 10 three-pointers. The Panthers were outshot at the free throw line where Webster's 17-of-22 effort bettered Greenville's 7-of-10 outing.
Among Greenville's leaders, Alex Mumphard posted 19 points and eight assists, and Brian Ehresman chipped in 11 points, four assists, and four steals.
Ron Harris totaled 12 points and a game-high 12 rebounds.
The Panthers (12-9, 8-6 SLIAC) will look to get back on track Saturday when they host Fontbonne at 3 p.m.
