Men's cross country finish 26th at Augustana

ROCK ISLAND, Ill. -- The men's cross country team received personal records from Jacob Burrell, Andrew Sharp, and Nathan Potts as the Panthers recorded 782 points for 26th place at the Augustana (IL) Brissman/Lundeen Cross Country Invitational.
Andrew Sharp was Greenville's No. 1 runner as he earned 78 points. Sharp completed the course in 87th place with a mark of 26:20.
Burrell crossed the finish line in 214th place as he collected 162 points with his 27:36 time.
Greenville's scoring was rounded out by Nathan Potts, Jaylen Shelton, and Nathan Allyn.
Potts personal record of 27:51 was good for 243rd place and 173 points.
Shelton had 183 points with his 261st place position in 27:59.
Allyn crossed the line 265th for 186 points in 28:02.
The men return to action on Friday, Oct. 2, at Olivet Nazarene.
