Men's Cross Country Places 22nd in Midwest Regionals

ROCK ISLAND, Ill.-- The GC men's cross country team placed 22nd out of the 39 teams that competed in the NCAA DIII Midwest Regional Cross Country Championships. Junior, Bryant Simpson, led the team coming in 82nd overall.

Simpson crossed the finish line at 26:24.1, running a 5:19 mile pace. 

Josh Dees, Raymond Hingson, Leo Smith-Butler, and Ben Gabel also recorded points for Greenville. Dees came in 94th overall with a time of 26:41.7. Hingson finished in 27:25.2 and Smith-Butler and Gabel closely followed with times of 27:44.3 and 28:01.7, respectively.

The team did not qualify for the NCAA DIII Championships.
