Men's Cross Country Takes 3rd in SLIAC Championships

HILLSBORO, Ill.-- The GC men's cross country team ran in the SLIAC Championships and finished 3rd out of the 6 teams that competed.

Junior, Bryant Simpson, led the Panther pack, finishing 5th overall with a time of 25:44.09. Josh Dees crossed the finish line next for GC, placing 7th with a time of 25:51.33. Ray Hingson, Leo Smith-Butler, and Ben Barber rounded out Greenville's top five runners with times of 27:03.90, 27:12.88, and 27:37.49, respectively. 

The team's next event is the Panther Trials in Greenville, Ill. on Friday, November 7, in preparation for the NCAA Regional Championships that will take place on Saturday, November 16 in Augustana.
